Dr. Wambugu M. Kigira | Vice Chair
Dr. Kigira, co-founder of Nairobi Outpatient Centre, is a medical doctor with a Master’s in International Business Administration. With experience in both public and private healthcare institutions, he has a comprehensive understanding of healthcare needs in Kenya. He currently serves as the Healthcare Director of Prison Fellowship – Kenya, Treasurer of the Christian Medical & Dental Association – Kenya, Strategy Director of Nairobi Outpatient Centre, and Lead Strategy Advisor for the Health Management & Consulting Group.
As a Christian, Dr. Kigira believes his calling is to contribute to the formulation and implementation of health policies, programs, and projects that can be applied and replicated in developing countries, taking into account the socio-economic conditions of their populations. His goal is to be at the forefront of healthcare management in the 21st century, striving to revamp and sustain systems that benefit the broader population. He is highly motivated to make a lasting impact on the socio-economic structure of the developing world, not only for the present but also for future generations.
