Justice Emmanuel O’kubasu | Chairman
Justice Emmanuel O’Kubasu is one of the founders of Prison Fellowship Kenya and has had a distinguished career as a High Court Judge and Judge of the Court of Appeal. Throughout his career, he held key leadership positions, including at the helm of the Kenya Law Reform Commission. He also chaired the enactment process of the Community Service Orders Act and played a pivotal role in the advancement of the Children’s Act.
Justice O’Kubasu’s vast experience and compassionate heart for the marginalized have greatly enriched the ministry. His dedication is best exemplified by the leading role he played in the transformation of Josiah Mwima, who turned from a life of serial crime to founding and running a compassionate academy for children of incarcerated parents. This legacy continues through “Promise Path,” a program that supports the well-being of children of incarcerated parents.
