Rev. Joyce Mutuku | Board Member
Rev. Joyce Mutuku is a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ with the Africa Inland Church (AIC). Her faithful service to God has been marked by witnessing His movement in extraordinary ways. In her local church, she engages in preaching, teaching women the Word of God, counseling, and evangelism.
Rev. Mutuku has also dedicated 28 years to prison ministry, serving in various capacities and finding fulfillment at every stage. Before her retirement, she was in charge of Nairobi County, where she worked as an administrator, preacher, counselor, mentor, and evangelist, often collaborating closely with permit holders. Through her ministry, many inmates experienced reformation, and she played a key role in building churches for the prison staff. Upon retirement, she established an office for the chaplaincy, which did not exist previously, providing a shared space for ministry work.
Though retired, Rev. Mutuku continues to serve as a volunteer, visiting prisons occasionally to preach the gospel. She remains steadfast in her belief in God’s faithfulness and power.
