Our Program
The Prisoner’s Journey (TPJ)
Through The Prisoners’ Journey, we walk alongside inmates as they explore the life, suffering and redemption of Jesus Christ.
Prisoners are cut off from society and are left alone to cope with hopelessness and despair beside the spiritual prison they are in.
The Prisoner’s Journey (Safari ya Mfungwa) transforms the lives of prisoners, from the inside out, by introducing them to a restorative relationship with Jesus.
THE PROCESS
How it works

The Prisoner’s Journey National Impact
“The Prisoner’s Journey program has brought transformative change to Lang’ata Women’s Prison. Witnessing inmate’s self-reflection and finding hope amid their circumstances throughout the 8 sessions has been truly inspiring. Through meaningful discussions and spiritual guidance, the program has provided a platform for personal growth, fostering resilience and restoring a sense of purpose. The Prisoner’s Journey and the follow-up discipleship programs have given hope and a sense of purpose and a more hopeful future to the ladies who have actively engaged with it.”

“The Prisoner’s Journey program has really impacted my life. Through its eight transformative sessions, I’ve found peace, redemption, and a renewed sense of purpose. The teachings have sparked a change within me, offering hope and guidance in this challenging environment. The program’s focus on Jesus Christ, who offers forgiveness and love, has allowed me to confront my past, while holding firmly to the new faith in Christ that is beyond the confines of these prison walls. I am grateful for the Prisoner’s Journey.”
